Day 94 Bake Oven Knob Shelter

6//22/13
Miles hiked 17.4

We had a full day. The trail was diffucult, rocky and steep in places. I watched Vagabond,  a 70 year old lady with a knee replacement fall on  difficult part of knife edge,  but luckily she landed on her pack and was not hurt. Sassafras and I hiked with her the rest of the day to make sure she would be safe. Later in the day Sunshine and Not Yet's family provided wonderful trail magic.  It was a tast of Pennsylvania,  with tomato pie, tasty treats and soft pretzels. Oh and of course cold soda and fresh fruit. It was very nice. We sat and talked with them for a long time. Kaboose

Today was fun. We hiked 17.4 miles. The weather was good. The trail was good. We had two hard spots, the first was knife edge, the second was a big rock scramble.we went to a resteraunt for lunch. We had trail magic for dinner. Sassafras
